Hello from me, Jess! Living on Larrakia Country in Darwin where I was born and raised, I am thrilled to be part of a practice founded on the community values of a Territory icon - the Green Ant!

I am a qualified Recreational Therapist and have worked in the health sector since 2012. I am a degree-qualified member of the Australian Recreational Therapy Association with a Bachelor of Health Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Health Promotion and have previous academic experience teaching units in this course.

I am passionate about supporting people of all ages and abilities to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to participate in leisure and recreation experiences they love. Some leisure and recreational experiences that bring me joy include spending time outdoors with my family and three dogs, hearing/reading a great story and dancing.

I have specialised skills in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury rehabilitation and intellectual, developmental and neurological conditions, developed across several years of work with a leading rehabilitation and disability service across NSW. I have extensive experience providing holistic, therapeutic support to individuals and their families across inpatient acute, inpatient rehabilitation, specialised and supported disability accommodation and community-based settings. I have previous experience in NDIS coordination and working with the icare lifetime care and support scheme (NSW).

Other areas of my expertise include leisure education, adaptive equipment trials and accessible technology prescription (including adaptive sport equipment), wheelchair skills and social and community access.
